JaxPort turns down $250 million deal

The Jacksonville Port Authority has turned down a proposal by an international shipping firm seeking to lease 100 acres at Blount Island for a cargo terminal that would have been one of the port’s biggest.

APM Terminals Buys Control of Black Sea Port

APM Terminals moved into the fast expanding Black Sea container market with the acquisition of a majority stake in Georgia’s Poti Sea Port.

The company bought an 80 percent stake in Georgia’s biggest port from Ras Al Khaimah Investment Authority of the United Arab Emirates.
