Union power on display in California’s just-completed legislative session

Gov. Brown decision means no public funds will be used to 'green-wash' job-killing automation

EPA gives Port of Long Beach $1.2 million for LBCT electric AGVs

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has awarded over $1.2 million to the Port of Long Beach to replace eight existing yard diesel tractors with all-electric automated guided vehicles, it was announced Thursday. (Note: Additional research confirmed that the AGVs will be used at the Long Beach Container Terminal.)
