Knud Stubkjaer, a former senior executive with Maersk Line and German shipowner E.R. Schiffahrt, has been named CEO of Carrix, the parent of Seattle-based SSA Marine and Tideworks Technology. Current CEO Jon Hemingway will continue to serve as chairman.

Stubkjaer spent 30 years with A.P. Moller-Maersk, including as CEO of Maersk Line. More recently, he was a partner and CEO of E.R. Schiffahrt, a large Hamburg-based owner and manager of chartered container ships. He will continue to serve on the board of E.R. Capital Holding Group, the parent company.
