From the Journal of Commerce:

Beneficial cargo owners won’t pay much of a premium for faster service or other ways carriers might be able to differentiate their ocean container services, Maersk Line CEO Soren Skou said.

“I frankly don’t think it’s possible that there are huge opportunities for charging premiums for service in our industry,” he said in an interview with JOC.com. “Even though different companies have different approaches to customer service, I think the interest for our customers will be such that it’ll very hard to charge a meaningful premium for higher service. In some cases, you may able to charge a small premium, but I don’t think we’re talking about hundreds of dollars.”
