The largest real estate transaction to date was the Puyallup Tribal Terminal, a terminal partnership with shipping company SSA Marine, located at the Port of Tacoma. This project is currently in the permitting stages. When this project is completed, it will be the largest single terminal in the Pacific Northwest, just over 200 acres with three shipping births.
“We try to attract private parties to do developments that traditionally would be done by public entities,” Wright explained. “We’re not using tax dollars, we’re getting private dollars to invest with us.”
