Columbia Grain expansion in Montana

Comulbia Grain has expanded, or plans to expand, its capacity in its elevators in Rudyard, Wolf Point, and Harlem.

Columbia Grain is expanding capacity at its Montana grain elevators.

In Carter, construction will begin soon on three new shipping bins with a combined capacity of almost 400,000 bushels. The addition will expand capacity at the elevator, which is a shuttle-loading facility, by more than 50 percent.

The company also is exploring the possibility of converting its Conrad and Plentywood grain elevators to shuttle-loaders, a Columbia Grain executive said.
