Norwegian Bliss

Norwegian Bliss

This Friday, the 4,000-passenger Norwegian Bliss will set sail from the Port of Los Angeles, setting a new record for the city’s largest home-ported cruise ship. She will depart LA for a series of weeklong voyages to Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta, before transiting the Panama Canal to the cruise hub of Miami, Florida for the winter season.

Bliss has just concluded her first Seattle-based summer season cruising to Alaska. She became the largest cruise ship to dock at the Port of Vancouver, B.C. dring her travels up and down the Inside Passage; according to Canada’s Global News, her air draft required her
to schedule her arrival for a seasonal low tide in order to clear
Vancouver’s Lions Gate Bridge.
