Almost every member of the Nipawin Fire Department and all of its six trucks were called out to a fire at Bunge, just south of Nipawin the evening of Tuesday, August 2.
“It was a fire in the machinery,” said Chief Brian Starkell.
There were no injuries reported. An investigator will be coming up to determine the cause of the fire.
The fire department received the call out at 5:15 Tuesday evening and returned back to town at almost 1:00 am. From there, they had several hours of cleanup and preparing the trucks for use again.
