From the Puget Sound Business Journal:

Port of Everett Riverside Business Park

For more than eight decades, the property was a lumber mill and processing site, where around 1,800 people worked in the late 1970s. Weyerhaeuser ceased operations there in the mid-1980s.

The Port of Everett has agreed to sell a parcel in the Riverside Business Park on the Snohomish River. The buyer, KirenanWest Development of California, is planning to develop a 50,000-square-foot industrial project for an unnamed company.

KiernanWest Development Co., of Coronado, Calif., will buy the port property for around $5 million, port officials said. The deal is expected to close before the end of the first quarter of 2017.

The 50,000-square-foot development will be built for a specific tenant, and company Principal Kevin Kiernan said in a press release that “everyone will be pleased when the tenant can be announced.”
