Seaship news: ICTSI takes full ownership of Melbourne terminal

Philippine port operator International Container Terminal Services Inc has taken full ownership of a port terminal in Australia. ICTSI has recently acquired from Anglo Ports the missing 10% stake it did not own in Victoria International Container Terminal in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

Manila Standard Today: ICTSI starts Iraq port terminal operation

Basra Gateway Terminal, a wholly-owned subsidiary of International Container Terminal Services Inc., said Thursday operations at the Port of Umm Qasr in Iraq are now in full swing.

BGT plans to upgrade the existing facilities at Berth 20 and construct an entirely new container/multipurpose facility, with the first phase consisting of a 250-meter berth and 20 hectares of backup land.
