State-run Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) has entered an agreement with the Port of San Francisco Commission to boost trade between the two countries.

Under the proposed partnership, both parties will share general information, policies and best practices on port planning and building, management and operations, information technology, personnel training, environmental protection measures, safety and security, supply chain logistics, cruise tourism, among others.
