Fire damages Nebraska grain facility

Fire broke out in coated grains section of the Viterra grain plant a little after two. About 10 people were working there at the time.

All the employees made it out safety, and were able to get it under control before it spread to much of the plant.

PNW Grain Dispute Heads North

Three ILWU Canada locals held an informational picket in Prince Rupert to protest the arrival of the vessel King Felipe, which was partially loaded earlier in the week by non-ILWU labor at the United Grain terminal in Washington state. The Canadian dockworkers, however, finished loading the vessel Tuesday.
