MEBA Labor Attorney, Lidinsky Receive FMC Nominations

A maritime labor representative has been nominated to the Federal Maritime Commission for the first time and the existing chairman, Richard A. Lidinsky Jr., was nominated for another term, the White House announced Friday.

William P. Doyle, chief of staff for the Marine Engineers Beneficial Association, has been on the union’s staff for the last decade, serving as deputy general counsel, director of government and legislative affairs. He was director of permits, schedules and compliance for Alaska Natural Gas Transportation Projects’ office of federal coordinator.
