The International Longshoremen’s Association relocated its headquarters to North Bergen, N.J., from the union’s longtime home in lower Manhattan.
The union’s offices now are in the headquarters of Local 1804-1, home local of new ILA President Harold Daggett. The ILA’s Atlantic Coast District, covering ports from Maine to Virginia, made an identical move in 2009.
