Cosco said its first quarter net profit rose 17 per cent to S$37.1 million year-on-year.
Revenue was up 21 per cent to S$1.01 billion, from S$835 million a year earlier.
Cosco said this increase was due to higher revenue from ship-building and marine engineering projects, which offset lower revenue from ship repairs and conversions, and dry bulk shipping.
