The Union of South American Nations (Unasur) and Brazil ruled out that the Pacific Agreement signed in Lima between Peru, Mexico, Colombian and Argentina, may affect the regional integration process.

Unasur Secretary-General MarĂ­a Mejia stated that this is a positive initiative as it shows dynamism in the region.

Presidents of Peru, Colombia, Chile and Mexico [signed] the Pacific Agreement on April 28 in order to create joint policies to improve production and services sectors.
