The Port of Longview pulled in nearly $28 million in 2010, hitting a record for the third consecutive year, port officials said Tuesday.

The $27.8 million of revenue last year was 11 percent more than the port accumulated in 2009, when it topped the $25 million mark for the first time.

Overall, the port handled 2.3 million tons of cargo last year, up 55 percent from 2009.
