Liverpool’s straddle carrier solution

The Royal Seaforth Container Terminal at the Port of Liverpool, has invested in a real time location system for its fleet of 34 straddle carriers.

The modular G-POS package allows each straddle carrier to report its location in real time, issuing automatic Job Step reports and allowing the Terminal Operating System to make strategic equipment utilization decisions.
