The future concessionaire of Peru’s Muelle Norte multipurpose terminal at Callao port will pay the state a fee of 3% of its net monthly income, through national port authority APN.

The provision is included in the third version of the 30-year concession contract completed by APN and private investment promotion agency ProInversion, state news agency Andina reported.

ProInversion expects to award the concession, which involves upgrading the terminal and operating it in partnership with national ports operator Enapu, in early 2011.
